Vehicle Description 1986 Shelby GLHS #382 of 500 Shelby American Certified This one is in great overall condition and shows 80,000 miles on the odometer.
The 2.
2 turbo modified by Shelby with inter cooler, tuned intake & exhaust manifolds, new design radiator and fan matched with a 5 speed manual transmission created a 175hp and 175 ft lbs of torque.
The chassis was also upgraded by Shelby to include stiffer springs, Koni shocks & struts coupled with Shelby designed wheels to accommodate wider tires produced a package capable of 0-60 in 6.
5 seconds and 1/4 mile times just over 14 seconds with a top speed reaching 135mph.
This example of the GLHS has had all maintenance recently performed and all necessary repairs to include New Power Module, Alternator rebuilt, New Turbo Hoses, New windshield wiper motor and New Hatch Shocks.
Mostly original paint very clean interior, AC/Heat work great.
Also included is the Shelby American Certificate of Authenticity, Koni shock/strut adjustment tools, original spare tire with jack and several pieces of advertising from the period.
