We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host.
As a Host/Host, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Your main responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Seat guests and provide menus - Manage reservations and ensure timely seating - Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area - Answer phone calls and take reservations - Provide accurate wait times to guests - Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and efficiency - Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions - Use Aloha POS system to manage seating arrangements and guest information Skills:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service - Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail - Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure - Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns or issues promptly - Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Join our team as a Host/Host and enjoy the opportunity to provide exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic hospitality environment.
