We are search for a Maintenance Director to join our team! Position Overview-Responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the maintenance department, including maintenance of physical plant, mechanical, electrical and resident care equipment in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred Essential Job Duties Oversees all areas of maintenance, including heating and air, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, repairs, painting, renovations, deep cleaning, and overall physical plant care.
Maintains a log of repairs and associated costs.
Follows the Work Schedule as a preventive maintenance tool.
Recruits, selects and orients qualified team members for the Maintenance Department.
Provides expectations and monitors performance of Maintenance Department staff.
Provides overall supervision of the Maintenance Department and provides guidance to the Maintenance staff.
Identifies, diagnoses and repairs technical and mechanical problems.
Liaison for outside contractors and vendors.
Ensures compliance with building and safety codes.
